  • According to my contact in the Tech Services department at Curt Manufacturing, their # 31049 will fit a 1998 Ford F150 2WD model as long as it has factory tow hooks mounted to the underside of the frame members.   • 7-Way Connection on 1998 Ford F-150
  • The Curt T-Connector #C55242 is designed to plug in line of the connector that is in the drivers side frame rail near the rear bumper. You will undo the connection and plug the 2 connectors in line of that single plug. I have no idea what that 2nd round plug that you have goes into or is for as I have been unable to identify it.
